We are thrilled to share the success of this year's Young Writers Workshops! YVC organized two incredible sessions in 2024, welcoming 55 passionate young writers from grades 2-5. The enthusiasm and kindness these children brought to the workshops have truly inspired us.
September 2023
For a second year, our young authors took center stage, unveiling their books in a celebration that included a red carpet, a photo booth with lively props, refreshing lemonade, and delightful mini-cupcakes. The air was filled with excitement as volunteers and students, finally reunited after months, exchanged hugs, high-fives, and infectious smiles. Once the books were revealed, authors dove into silent re-reads of their works, followed by an interactive book signing session with their peers.

Our favorite time of year! Both of the 2023 Young Writers Workshops were a huge success. YVC was able to hold two sessions this year, and our team is deeply touched by each of the 45 children (grades 1-5) that we were able to work with. Their kindness and enthusiasm for learning was remarkable.

PUBLISHED AUTHOR ALERT!! Our Young Writers Workshop attendees have received their own hardcover books.
Today, we had a red carpet themed book signing party. The kids enjoyed cupcakes, lemonade, and the photo booth! We are so proud of our young authors. Their love and curiosity is so special!

The first ever Young Writers Workshop was a huge success! The 25 children that attended this week absolutely changed the lives of their instructors. The compassion and excitement they showed towards learning was inspiring. Thank you to all of the YVC members that showed up each day to lead the workshop and a heartfelt appreciation towards the Tiger Academy staff who hosted us all week.
